Model 601 stirring electrode pedestal hereafter called meter is a new product, it is combined with an electrode pedestal and magnetic stirrer. While a pH electrode and other ion electrode are being used, they usually need to be stirred to speed up the response. Especially for plastic pH electrode, stirring is able to exclude air bubble inside protection cap for electrode bubble, otherwise the air bubble would make the respond slowly or not accurate. There is no stirring function for common electrode pedestal and inconvenient for using. But use this meter can easily solve this problem. It has a clincher which is designed specially, it’s easy to operate and rising or falling freely.
Meanwhile, this meter can be also used as a common magnetic stirrer. It adopts with an ABS plastic housing and a punch bracket for it. It’s pretty accurate for the position of its electromotor and rotor. So its appearance is good-looking, and it is thicker and smaller. It can be timing limitless and circumrotating placidly. It’s steady and accurate to stir solution in a larger range.
The meter is especial for measurement of pH and ion electrode as well as suitable for measuring for small bulk sample, and it is a necessary instrument for Lab., education and research organ.

3. How to use:
1.      Put a test glass or beaker with solution on the working area. Note: you should consult the circular scale on the working area, put it in the center, don’t be deflective, so the stirring ball would circumrotate placidly.
2.    Put an electrode into the clincher and regulating (rising or falling) it to your right position.
3.    Power on, and turn on the switch (the indicator lights), regulating the speed what you need with timing button CW (clockwise) accelerating. Stir solution over 10 seconds, then stop it and get reading from meter.
4.    If just for stirring, the clincher and the supporting bar can be removed, and use as above requirement.
5.    When finishing, turn the button CCW at the bottom, power off, and then rub-up the working area.
6.    There are two stirring balls, B835 and B628. They can meet general application. However, you can also buy other specific stirring ball if you need.
